Over the years, we have seen many young riders struggling with scooters that were simply too big and heavy for them to ride and trick properly.
We wanted our first scooter to be ready to shred in various sizes from small to large and we didn’t want kids to be cutting and shutting their scooters (let’s face it, most parents don’t realise they need to get the scooter sized to their child anyway!).
We wanted our Viral scooters to be light, sick and to fit the kids that would be riding them, straight out of the box. Alongside a pro level spec, the viral is ready to shred!
So, we got out our Solidworks CAD package and put our best engineers and designers to work, to create a completely bespoke scooter from the ground up.
We studied what was right and wrong with the top scooters on the market, put metal where it is needed and took it away where it wasn’t. We looked at some of the most popular scooter geometries on the market and made sure it would work with all riders and matched our components to suit the scooter size.
With over 40 years in engineering and BMX manufacture, we knew exactly what we needed to do to create a lightweight durable and strong scooter that would match or better anything else on the market….
Aside from the bearings, NOTHING on this scooter is off the shelf or generic. It’s all bespoke, state of the art, designed, tooled and manufactured by us at RKR Scooters.
This scooter is specifically designed for off-road racing on enclosed tracks on private property. It is NOT to be used on the highway or sidewalk.

All alloy components are hot annealed T4 to relieve stress then cold water quenched T6 for ultimate strength.
VIRAL 420 Deck (4.20” W, 18.5” L) extruded 6061 T6 heat treated deck and neck with oversize weld area for massively increased strength at the neck/deck joint.
• 6061 T6 heat treated and butted oversize T bar pre-cut to the deck size (W 21in, L 18.25in, Overall height: 27.5in measured to floor) with 3 degrees backsweep and 2 degrees upsweep.
Bars are sized to suit the deck, no need to cut anything, our completes are ready to shred as soon as you put the bars on.
